Made from scratch, overrated! chili recipe, heb fajitas
yeah, after seeing what it's like to babysit and have kids around while I'm trying to make dinner, I realized that things made from scratch sometimes, most of the time, take too much time. Made from scratch is way too overrated. I feel like as long as I can get a variety of good tasting meals on the table then I have accomplished a feat!
Here are some great recipes not made from scratch!
HEB premarinated chicken fajitas:
suatee' long strips of onion, frozen (dethawed) bell peppers until brown.
Add premarinated chicken fajitas and serve with tortillas from Taco cabana or Heb and barbara's spanish rice.
Chili:
Get the canned beans that say, 'just add meat and tomatoes.'
Cook ground beef in it's own oil maybe even with onions
mix the stewed tomatoes and beans
Serve with Ellen's cornbread (make sure new flour and new corn meal is used and not powdered sugar!)
